Return of Saleable Goods

All items for credit must be returned within 21 days of invoice date.
Authorisation must be obtained from Malpas Tractors before the goods are returned.

Authorisation will be given at the discretion of Malpas Tractors
Where Malpas Tractors agrees to accept back goods in saleable condition for credit, we will be unable to credit any carriage charges and may charge a handling fee of up to 15%.
All items ordered in error must be returned to us at the customers cost.

Payment

We accept payment by all major credit cards (Excluding American Express).
We also accept payment by PayPal.
No goods will be dispatched until full payment has been Cleared by the payment provider.

Pricing Errors

If we discover an error in the price of goods ordered or reserved, we will inform you as soon as possible (e.g. prior to the goods being despatched or prior to the collection of the goods). We will provide you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you choose to cancel and have already paid for the goods you will receive a full refund.

Minimum Invoice Value

There is no minimum invoice value for deliveries to U.K Mainland addresses, any deliveries outside the U.K Mainland will require a minimum invoice value of £10.

Back Orders

Malpas Tractors will chase any back orders with their suppliers on the behalf of their customers.

Cancellation

Cancellation of an order must be made by email before the goods are dispatched.

Dispatch Queries

Loss or damage of goods must be notified to us within 5 working days of receipt. Non-receipt of the entire consignment must be notified to us within 14 days of the invoice date or 7 days of expected delivery date stated at checkout for shipping option selected if it is the later date.

Malpas Tractors will not accept liability if a claim on the carriers cannot be sustained after this period.

Custom Duties and other taxes

Customers outside the UK are liable for all import duties and local taxes. Malpas Tractors is not required to charge customers any taxes or duties, any taxes or duties which are levied by the receiving country are the responsibility of the customer.
If these taxes and duties remain unpaid goods will be destroyed at point of entry by the carrier and Malpas Tractors will be unable to offer any refund on your purchase.

Liability

We fully guarantee all items shown in our catalogues against faulty materials or workmanship.
If any fault due to bad workmanship or materials is proved and the details notified to the company within six months of purchase, the company will at its own cost and its own option repair or replace the faulty article but subject to this all express or implied warranties or conditions as to quality or fitness for any purpose of the goods are hereby expressly excluded. It is the responsibility of the installing engineer to check components before and during installation. Malpas Tractors can not accept liability for any labour or other costs incurred by the customer in relationship to parts failure or warranty issues.
We will not accept under any circumstances liability for consequential loss or loss of profits arising on any contract.

General

All contracts between Malpas Tractors and its customers are in accordance with English Law and shall be governed by the above terms of trade, which replace and override all other terms of trade.
